Supply Chain analysis isn’t just about determining if you use a direct shipment or an Internal Logistics / Distributions Centers.  In the Global Marketplace that we are currently working in change is no longer a "what if" scenario but a daily reality.  Suppliers are constantly going out of business, moving / combining manufacturing facilities (often overseas) and merging with other suppliers.  Responding to customer demands due to increased gas prices  or "Cash for Clunkers" program can instantly impact what you customer wants to buy!  How often do you evaluate your entire Supply Chain?  Only when necessary for lost suppliers, new launches or every time a change is made?
